No mind change, No life change

Renewing your Mind

Job 33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Ask yourself what is the acceptable and perfect will of GOD and are you doing it? Hint: you must read the Word of GOD!  Members of the church must understand the importance of turning over all (not just the ones we want to) negative thoughts to include:  self, fear, bitterness and  unforgivingness.  Only after the light of Jesus Christ encounters those dark places of  fear and woundedness within us can true healing take place. Our subjective reactions  to the shortcomings and sins of others against us, must be accepted and not denied, and forgiveness extended. When we realize we have been judgmental and/or have not separated the sin from the person or from our self, then confession and repentance needs to take place. Come before the Lord and tell him you have recognized sin in your life you are now ready to take responsibility(accountability)  for it. Repent before GOD for participating in what you recognize. Make what you recognize your enemy and renounce it.  Remember: practice at least the 3r’s·         Reconize you have a problem·         Take Resposibility for it·         Repent for participating in it·          When you think about certain people or events do you get this ping that goes off?

Eph 3:16-17  that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

We cannot be good enough on our own. We can’t heal our self’s by our own reasons or feelings or self-effort. Only thru the strength that Jesus gives us from inside can we live a significant and purposeful life for theKingdom of
GOD.

Jam 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you.

I will say first and foremost Jesus must be Lord of your life, only then he can be your savior. He can’t be your savior without first becoming Lord of your life.

Rom 10:9-10   That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

You need to understand that the blood of Jesus thru (confession) repentance

cleanses us from our sin. This doesn’t mean that the power of the sin is automatically broke in our life. When you received salvation you still had some of the same old ways and thoughts has before. You must put off the old man and put on the new man. The human spirit must become lowly and the Holy Spirit must take over. By making Jesus Lord over your life and knowing( in faith) that he was raised  from the dead on the third day and sits on the right hand of GOD gives you the power(thru his resurrection) to break these old ways and thoughts. It’s all about becoming more Christ -like on a daily basis.

2Co 3:18  But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. My note: ( this doesn’t happen immediately, we are conformed to that image on a day to day basis)

Have you made Jesus true Lord of your life. Do you have true fellowship with GOD on a daily basis? Is he truly Lord of your life? Is it all about him; or  have you put your self, job, family, friends other things ahead of and above GOD?

Mat 6:19  Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

Mat 6:20  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:                                                                      Mat 6:21  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Remember these words in red are Words Jesus himself spoke!

Mat 6:33  But seek ye first thekingdom of
God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

I’m just asking some questions that we should all be asking ourselves’s

Remember to do all you do in Love!!
